Purchasing Agent
Job Purpose: Obtains requirements by verifying, preparing, and forwarding purchase orders; verifies receipt of items; authorizes payment; analyze sales records, check inventory levels, look for changes in the market that may affect the availability or price of supplies. Identify suppliers that may provide supplies at a low cost.
Purchasing Agent Job Duties:
Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items;
recommending alternatives.
Forwards available inventory items by verifying stock; scheduling delivery.
Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers
for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.
Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
Authorizes payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.
Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplishes purchasing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, engineering or a related field, 5+ years’ experience in the HVAC Manufacturing industry
Project Manager
To be responsible for the overall projects, coordination, procurement of material and completion of consistency using company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience (2-5 yrs)
Must have qualification in project management for HVAC / Electrical / Manufacturer.
Proven experience in people management and planning.
Must be proficient with MS Project software, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Great Plains.
College is a plus. Must have at least a high school diploma.

Reviewing construction drawings for accuracy and content.
Evaluate any pricing requirements, e.g. sub-contractors, supply vendors.
Visit job site if required, schedule same with salesman and customer.
If required, invite sub-contractors to site walk-thru.
Interface with customers, engineers, and architects as needed to insure a complete estimate.
Review technical data for compliance with specifications, local and State regulations.
Prepare a bid worksheet for all estimated projects.
Submit bid worksheet to MFS Operations Manager for final review.
Attend Kick-off meeting on sold projects to turnover any documents or information relevant.

HVAC Service Sales Executive
Responsible for providing comfort solutions for building owners. Increase revenues by developing
relationships, following up sales leads, generating quotes and obtaining orders from customers.
The successful candidate will sell the company's Service and Maintenance Agreements,
Custom Manufactured Equipment Solutions and Mechanical Installations to commercial,
industrial and institutional customers through the following process:
Serves customers by answering inquires and responding to special requests.
Identify, cold call and qualify potential maintenance agreement customers.
Consolidates reference information by collecting, organizing and assembling data for reports, presentations, and/or special projects.
Maintains competitive advantage by learning about competitor's activity and reporting to management.
Maintain a prospect list, sales log and follow up schedule.
Review open PO list.
Perform field surveys of customer facilities for HVAC service and/or maintenance agreement opportunities.
Provides quotes for service repairs, change outs, IAQ, and energy solutions.
Develops owner sales plans and generates successful sales with core customers.
Responds to customer needs by identifying needs, generating quotes and closing orders.
Maintains records of sales, customer information and requests by updating the database.
Serves customers by communicating order changes.
Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions,
and communicating with customers and staff as needed.
Communicates customer perceptions by gathering customer feedback and sharing information with management.
Track maintenance agreement anniversary dates and secure renewals.
Network with other departments to exchange leads.
Works closely as a team member with other parts of the business.
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Associates degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Marketing or Business preferred with training in consulting, sales and marketing through experience and/or corporate training.
EXPERIENCE:
Five (5) plus years of commercial HVAC maintenance sales experience to commercial, industrial and institutional facilities in addition to the following skills:
Highly motivated and skilled at cold calling.
Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and maintenance procedure.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
HVAC Technician
Maintains HVAC Equipment by maintaining, servicing an diagnosing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment; maintaining records.
Duties:
Performs service calls and maintenance calls scheduled by dispatcher, writes out service tickets, maintains truck inventory;
must be able to read drawings, and blueprints, work well with a team setting.
Maintains HVAC systems by diagnosing, repairing/replacing compressors, condenser motors, evaporator motors, metering
devices, temperature and humidity controls, fans, control panels, switches, fuses, filters, gauges, ducts, tubing,
and related components; completes power connections.
Tests and repairs HVAC systems by operating the systems; identifying malfunctions; repairing or replacing, parts,
and components.
Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; performs troubleshooting on breakdowns;
maintains supplies; performs preventive maintenance; places calls for repairs.
Documents actions by completing equipment records.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
