Houston Business Roundtable Presented Prestigious Award to Houston Company

Houston, Texas (Marketwire) – June 14, 2010 – Custom Air Products & Services, Inc. (CAPS),  a leader in the Industrial and Commercial HVAC and heating industry, was honored with the Bronze Safety Award – Special Contractor- Hard Crafts Small by the  Houston Business Roundtable. The presentation took place at The Best of the Best black tie event at Moody Gardens on May 7.

The Houston Business Roundtable was established in 1973 as an association of construction users to be the owners’ voice in Houston for the construction industry.  The organization promotes cost effective project and construction management with strong emphasis on best practices, safety and health in construction and facility maintenance.

This award process was developed and is maintained by the HBR Safety, Health & Environmental Resource Committee that meets monthly.  HBR believes that the Greater Houston Area Contractors involved in this award process have developed world class safety programs and have produced significantly better safety records than any other group of contractors in the world. 

Robert Covington, EH&S Director, accepted the award for CAPS, a full-service HVAC company that specializes in the design, construction, installation, modification, and servicing of industrial air conditioning equipment.
